Michele shot Yin, a dear friend and a long-time rope top of mine, with her fincee, R a few months ago. The rooftop location was great and the two of them shared a wonderful bondage experience. Yin decided she wanted to continue the scene by being tied to R as a show of love and connection. She asked me to do that. This was, in some ways, a repayment for a similar ritual of love and connection Yin performed for me a few years ago. She did the intial ties on R and I then tied her into his bondage.

Hmm... Me tying up one of my rope tops. Now that's something I never thought would happen. I was a little nervous but Yin's always been someone who's helped me relax into potentially difficult bondage experiences. It didn't take me long to work out what I wanted to do and find their comfort zones.

The set has our love of little jokes, e.g. all of us in leather pants, boots and tanks (good thing we all wore different colored shirts or you'd never tell us apart). It also has our shared love of little connective moments, such as lightly binding Yin and R's hands together. There's also our love of pushing ourselves as evidenced in Yin's face as she maintains her balance on one foot.

Yin's life has taken a lot of turns and leaps since she and I last shot and played together. So has mine. I think this gallery truly reflects our growth and evolution as rope players and friends. She's given me quite a few wonderful experiences in the past and will in the future as well. And I'm looking forward to sharing rope with her in switch mode. There's a richness of potential there that we definitely want to explore. (We're talking about doing a double self suspension set which should be fun.)

How did I feel helping my two friends share such close and intense moments? Elated and proud of both of them -- and of myself. Yin and R found wanted to do something that broke the conventional wisdom of their bondage relationship and expressed their feelings of closeness and love of life together and I was proud to be a guide along that road.
