This set was actually the first of the two we shot with Beth at Sully's. It was the first time I'd put rope on Beth and I wanted to get to know her a bit and let her feel the potential that lay before us. I didn't mention this when I described the previous gallery of Beth: I was very nervous about the scene because beth is a regular play partner of a very talented rope top and friend, Mac Heath. Michele has shot some amazing images with the two of them and I didn't want to suffer from the comparison.

To overcome that little fear, I did what I always do: found the place where Beth and I overlap in our rope love and used that to propel us into our little adventure. Beth is fierce and tough as nails and the energy she throws into her rope play is astounding and matches my own. We started slowly with just a quick body harness so we could get used to each other physically but it didn't take long before we rode that rope connection into more intense and frenetic action.

Something that I enjoyed immensely was the fact that Beth and I made and kept eye contact quite often during the scene. She let me know that she was with me the whole way. I think that we gave each other confidence and encouragement in that way. We kept pushing each other farther and farther along, enjoying the challenges we presented to each other. Beth likes what I like: from hair pulling to inversions to constant movement in bondage and stressful positions and that made it easy for me to find a flow and direction that suited us both.

It was a joy to share this experience with her.
