I guess I've got a theme of "last so far" with this update (see below). Over a year ago we were in Oakland shooting with Emma and this is the last set from that wonderful weekend. I am, of course, looking forward to reconnecting with Emma so that we can make more rope magic!

The highlight of the work Emma and I did is this suspension we did over a koi pond in the back yard of the house where we shot. Michele got some great shots of Emma rope craft -- not just in the actual suspension but in the beauty of her harness tie. I am always impressed with Emma's bondage and this set is no different.

The interesting thing about this tie is that it's less about bondage than is is about movement in suspension. Emma and I both love rope that allows us to express joy and beauty in movement and her harness allowed us to do just that. I bit of my old tai chi, a bit of my old (and all-too-brief) ballroom training, a bit of my dreams of flying and a lot of my body just doing what being in Emma's rope hinted at. All in all, this set makes me very happy.

I'd also like to thank our hostess, Sterling, for arranging that weekend -- and for the very cool bondage pants! Raw silk and I'm still getting lots of good use out of them! Can I have some more please?
