You never know what you're going to find when you decide to put half of your apartment into storage so that you can figure out how to make it look like you actually live there instead of just using it to store boxes and boxes of crap. I came across these images I shot last Spring with Miss M quite by fortuitous happenstance (meaning I had decided to actually look in one of the boxes I was going to put into storage, just to see some of what I was going to put away). I have no idea how the CDs got in that box but as soon as I took a look at them I knew I'd have to post them here. Set one this time, set two next update.

I've always maintained that I was an Elmer Batters fan (although I don't own a book of his images -- *hint hint*) but I wasn't aware of how much I'd internalized some of his sensibilities into my own shooting of feet and bondage that I do with Miss M. I don't claim to have his photographic lyricism but I will definitely cop to his influence on me. I'm even more excited to shoot my own work after seeing these sets.

Miss M was very patient while I fiddled around with the lights, set up the remote shutter and picked the rope. She was also very happy with the partial suspension. So was I. She has a love of foot and leg bondage that mirrors my own and I'm all-too-pleased to present our collaboration here.
