Angelene and I met on-line – sort of. She was part of the now-defunct Helios Rope Project. We became acquainted on the message board they ran and finally met at TES Fest a few years ago. She and Michele and I hit it off; Michele and I thought it would be fun to work with her but that didn't happen for years. Between the time we met and the time we shot, Angelene went through quite a bit in her life (including stints as an InSex model and a nasty breakup). It wasn't until we got a chance to hang out with her for an extended period of time at L.A. Dojo last year that we all figured out where we stood with respect to playing and working together. She said she wanted to experience bondage for it's own sake (which is where I live in bondageland), not as a vehicle for sadistic/masochistic pain (which was all she ever got when she shot with InSex). We all felt a strong enough connection that we wanted to pursue it.

Co-bottoming was perfect for our first bondage experience together because we were going from newly minted friends to play partners of a sort. By bottoming together, I think we got a better sense of who we were and how we could rely on and trust each other in rope so that when we switched to me topping her, it would be more comfortable for both of us.

Michele had friend with warehouse space in Connecticut and I knew that ~Z~ would love to get in on this, so we set it up. We did two sets of us co-bottoming and one set with me topping her. I think this first set is lovely and intense, thanks to Michele's vision of the tie, ~Z~'s execution of that vision as rigger, and the supportive, challenging and caring vibe that Angelene and I share.
